How it Works
The clinic provides education on various contraceptive options and can prescribe oral birth control options, Depo-Provera injections, NuvaRing, condoms, and patches on the same day. A pregnancy test may be required. Birth control options that involve procedures, such as an IUD or Nexplanon, can’t be done on the same day as the walk-in. However, the patient may make an appointment after counseling or a referral for these procedures. Plan B is available over the counter at most community pharmacies and the MTF pharmacy. Active duty patients have first priority for care; all other beneficiaries will be seen on a space-available basis.
